Ceramics studio · Est. 2014
Quiet objects,
made by hand.
A small workshop for slow, useful things — bowls, cups, and vessels thrown one at a time and finished in muted glazes.
What we do
Four ways to work with clay.
01
Wheel classes
Six-week beginner courses and open drop-in sessions for returning throwers.
02
Studio access
Monthly membership with a shelf, glaze library, and shared kiln firings.
03
Commissions
Custom dinnerware and tableware sets, made to your colours and counts.
04
Private sessions
Two-hour workshops for small groups, birthdays, and quiet date nights.
The studio
We believe a good object should disappear into daily use.
Fold began as a single wheel in a back room and grew, slowly, into a light-filled workshop on the corner. We still make everything ourselves — no moulds, no shortcuts, no two pieces quite the same.
Our glazes are mixed in-house in a palette of stone, oat, and clay. The work is meant to be held, used, washed, and lived with for years.
Recent pieces
A few things off the shelf.
